**CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT – Full-Time
Duties include assisting providers with direct patient care, office work. Qualifications include H.S. diploma and formal education as a Medical Assistant.. Excellent customer service skills. Compassionate and patient/service oriented. Functions as a member of a collaborative health care team to create and maintain a Patient Centered Medical Home. Strong organizational multi-tasking skills and ability to maturely handle disruptions in a fast paced setting. Computer skills and experience with electronic health records. Professional appearance and attention to detail. Bilingual in order to communicate effectively with providers and patients. One to three years experience in Ob/Gyn, Adult or Pediatrics strongly preferred. Current M.A. Certification and CPR certification. From time to time, may be assigned to multiple sites or work variation or extended hours.
(2) HEALTH INFORMATION SERVICES (MEDICAL RECORDS) CLERK – **(1) Full-Time and (1) Part-Time
Responsible for assembling, filing and review medical records to ensure completeness Willingness to cross-train to cover other clerks. Scan documents onto EHR system. Qualifications include H.S. diploma including keyboarding, filing and office procedures skills, six months to one year experience in a medical setting preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations. Great organizational skills and ability to remain focused and constant attention to detail. Great customer service skills, this person may also function as the main BCHC operator on a rotating schedule with other HIS staff. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and offsite. Ability to lift up to 25lbs
**(3) FRONT DESK CLERK – Full-Time
Responsible for greeting patients, making appointments, taking payments and handling provider schedules and update patient information in practice management system. Performs some data entry and balance cash payments at the end of the day. Must maintain confidentiality of patient information. Functions as a member of a collaborative health care team to create and maintain a Patient Centered Medical Home. Qualifications include H.S. diploma. Great interpersonal skills and customer oriented. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment. Ability to work variation of hours and willingness to cross-train. May rotate through the different clinic sites at any given time. Ability to work well under stress and maintain calm under pressure. Six month to one year experience in a medical setting or related field preferred. Available transportation and valid TX driver’s license.
HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT – Part-Time
Responsible for the cleanliness of facilities. Responsibilities include general housekeeping duties such as mopping, buffing, polishing, scrubbing, and occasionally rearranging furniture. Trash disposal of all areas, cleans walls and windows. Must follow all safety policies and standards. Minor plumbing and carpentry knowledge to perform a variety of duties for the maintenance of the facility greatly desired. Use of minor to semi heavy equipment. Exposed to hazardous materials.
Qualifications include experience in housekeeping and maintenance duties in a clinical setting preferred. Ability to lift up to 25lbs. using safety and personal protective equipment at all times. Ability to work with little supervision and remain on task. May need to work at several locations in one day’s work. Work evening and weekends. Must have available transportation, current active driver’s license and state required motor vehicle liability insurance/mileage reimbursement. Bilingual a great plus.
